<p>Has anyone ever thought about the decision coming by mail only? I know it came by email last year, but they also had the applicant services page that Northwestern did not use this year. Maybe it will come by mail… like Georgetown is doing.</p>
<p>Advice to everyone out there (myself included): Do not waste an entire day refreshing your email account like I did; just forget about it, and before you know it, it will arrive.</p>

<p>I also had the same feeling that NU might just release decisions by mail, therefore maintaining the element of surprise, except the only reason I would have any hesitation to this theory is that we won’t all find out on the same day? Do they want that? I have a feeling it’s not today, so two guts, one thread… only time will tell. Let’s hope you’re right if it’s good - and i’m right if it’s bad news that any of us are expecting.</p>

<p>kinda tired of the wait. NU should have sent each of us an email about the release of the decision.</p>
<p>I’ve been killing myself by checking my email every ten seconds, just as all of you have.
anyway, i became tired of the agonizing wait, so i emailed the person who interviewed me for NU and here’s what he had to say about when admissions decisions should be sent out: </p>
<p>I’d suspect within the next two weeks. I know that the admissions staff has been really working their collective tails off, as I’ve been back to Chicago twice in the past three weeks, and I couldn’t even bribe one of them with a free meal to take a break. There were over 25,000 applications to review so I’d say hang loose.</p>
<p>But they say the end of this month.</p>
<p>When do they tell you what time they’re releasing decisions?</p>
<p>I’m international…so i hopefully should get an email irrespective of weather they’re releasing decisions for domestic applicants via email/mail/both</p>
<p>Does it mean that they are at low efficiency or they lack of staff to review those apps</p>
