<p>quick question for Grantl345 and eromano333 if you guys dont mind sharing it what were your gpas and SATs and stuff like that…im still waiting to hear back if i got into the college of arts and sciences!</p>
<p>You know, quite frankly, I don’t care. It’s ridiculous. I’ve been accepted to 4 other great schools, so I don’t need to deal with Syracuse’s pretentious behavior towards honest, respectable, qualified prospective students. Also, I am beginning to believe that something was wrong with my common application. I applied to 9 colleges on my common application and as of now I have been waitlisted or denied at every single one except for my last one.</p>
<p>4cuse16 I had a 3.3 GPA huge upwards trend 1930 SAT at a top 10 HS in NJ. Average GPA and SAT accepted to syracuse in the past was something like a 3.3 and a 1600. Outrageous.</p>

<p>D was just wait listed also. 3.5 or 3.6GPA and sat 2090. Oh well, not too disappointed I don’t think. She has been falling for other schools she got accepted to back in Jan.</p>

<p>I just got wait-listed for Newhouse. They didn’t offer admission to my 2nd choice, CAS, so what was the point of asking for a second choice? Getting wait-listed is worse than a rejection, because they’ll tell us AFTER May 15th. As if we won’t have already made a decision 2 weeks before that date…</p>

<p>Those of you waitlisted to Newhouse as your first choice school: you deposit elsewhere until you hear if you are taken off of the waitlist; if you want to go to SU regardless of the school you enter into, let them know…</p>
<p>Most people who put Newhouse as first choice have very compelling resumes why they belong there; that is why alot of people who put Newhouse as first choice are waitlisted there rather than given their second choice (or third)…</p>
<p>For those of you who have been waitlisted to your second or third choice, that is telling you that you probably were not qualified for the first choice you put down but are qualified for your second or third and there isn’t enough room to offer you admission yet…</p>
<p>as i said, if you want Syracuse regardless of the sub-school though, let them know…</p>
<p>obviously, a kid who applies for architecture with a portfolio is not going to be satisfied with their second choice school…if that is not the case, let them know…(I’m sure you are aware that you can’t transfer internally to arch)…</p>

<p>I only wish I hadn’t had to wait until now. regardless, I got into my first choice school, but I was highly considering cuse. oh well. I’ll be happier elsewhere anyway, I just wanted cuse bc this progam is so good.</p>
