<p>okay, its weird because i submitted my app on 10/30 and transcripts were there by the second week of november… and i know people that applied 3 weeks after me and got acceptances with similar grades (3.9 GPA, 1280 SATS (out of 1600), and a good amount of ECs)… so i called and the lady on the phone to make sure there were no complications (umd lost my transcript) was like oh we just havent reviewd your application yet. so i dont know… weird? i mean everyone i know says that i have a good shot… but im just kind of nervous… bc i know it gets harder as the process goes on. should i call again… wait it out… =\ ?</p>
<p>There’s really nothing else left to do, as you’ve done every possible thing. If there are no complications and they have all of your materials, it’s in their hands now. You shouldn’t necessarily be nervous because you still have a chance. Good luck!</p>
<p>Jersey - I’m in a similar situation - although my stats aren’t quite as good as yours - 1280 with a 3.6. My materials were all there mid- October - but there was a file foul up and they combined everything into one file 11/8. As of Friday - they said they still haven’t reviewed my file. Yet DMONWAT29 got in last week with a 3.4 weighted GPA and an 1170 SAT. Go figure. And the beat goes on…</p>

<p>Hmmmmm maybe - but possibly the same admissions counselor handles MD and NJ? I’m just aggravated at this point. After a month and 3 phone calls, they still haven’t fixed my website problem - and I’m still getting all kinds of marketing mail - just wish I could find that congrats envelope and get the suspense behind me - since I apparently never will be able to use the website for info. Hope if I DO get in - that isn’t the site I have to use to register for classes - I’ll be dead in the water. :></p>
<p>i would have to say that you have an excellent chance of getting in. don’t worry about the waiting time, it doesn’t really mean anything. i applied a few weeks after a friend of mine and i got my acceptance before her, but she still got accepted, it just took a little longer. no worries. enjoy winter vacation =)</p>
