does anyone know if hopkins releases its decisions online/ by phone?

are you applying early decision? because i think for early decision most people get them through e-mail. not sure about regular decision.

I don't think Hopkins uses e-mail for any decisions. December 15th is the postmark date- in the past, they've called admitted students on that day. However, they didn't say anything about it in the literature and I bet they'd get pretty ticked if everyone started calling them.

no you're wrong. they do e-mail early decision admits for sure. (atleast most of them)

Was that for the '08s? As of the class of '07, they definitely didn't use e-mail. They called, and people were on tenterhooks waiting.

I was ED '08, and yes, we got emails.

so no email == rejection?

i think that people also get an e-mail saying they've been deferred. i'm not too sure.
