Declare Major or Go Undecided

<p>What’s the better route?
My D is thinking of majoring in finance. If she applies directly with a finance major and is denied admission to the school of business, do the schools offer admission to another school or school of general studies?</p>

<p>I say, get in and declare your major later.</p>

<p>Any thoughts?</p>

<p>By the way, she’s planning on applying to Penn State, Indiana University, University of Illinois at UC, Ohio State.</p>

<p>It doesn’t matter. Yes, if your daughter doesn’t get into a school of business, the University can still offer admission to another school.</p>
