declaring minor to take cse classes?

What’s up all,

I’m currently taking cse8a and I’m relatively enjoying the class and I want to take more in the future. Next quarter, I’m thinkin about taking cse11 and cse20. Do i have to declare a minor in order to take these classes? Or can I just take them without? I’m currently a bio major at the moment.

Nope, you can take them without.

If you can’t register for it online, just call the CSE department and asked to be cleared. Most likely they will clear you.

I hope you’re prepared for this…the material after CSE11 is NOTHING like 8a/b or 11…

you should consider taking cse8b instead of 11 since it’s a continuation of 8a with the same professor Beth Simon so you can get the full cse8 experience.

cse20 isn’t bad, but the rest gets alot harder
