Decode this dress code please

ok…here’s one to decode:

Fundraiser concert next week and the dress code is “snappy casual”. WHUH?

^^ That’s a new one on me, too! I googled it –
[snappy casual – style](http://pinterest.com/kelswilliams/snappy-casual-style/)

well…it looks like cardigans and the ubiquitous double wrapped scarf…OH BROTHER. Maybe they should have said “the same old thing”.

Its way too hot for that so I will make it up as I go along!

I’m guessing that would be false eyelashes and stilettos.

We have an event tomorrow night. Dress code states women are expected to be lovely, men are to be reasonably clean.

Now that’s funny, zoeydoggie.

I think snappy casual calls for a new outfit.

My sister-in-law issues invitations for a dance every year that says “Medals will be worn” which she says wear your party frocks. In the winter my brother always wears a tux, but this weekend he had on a linen suit. My husband usually wears modern trachten (German semi-tradition outfit that is appropriate wedding attire there). Most people do get quite dressed up, though yesterday there was one guy in shorts and a polo shirt. People often do dig out running medals and the like and wear them, which is always a good conversation starter.
