On the Deerfield website, in the same general area as the requesting information area, there’s a place where you can submit information that will be “forwarded to the faculty member for each other areas in which you are interested.”
You can put, in detail, previous experience and future interests for both arts and sports. I did this and never received any sort of emails back (I did it in the art section), so I was just wondering if anyone else did this, primarily in the arts section, and if this is also all apart of the whole “no communication until decisions are reached” agreement!
Any feedback would be great :)

You can send emails directly to the faculty members of interest. The faculty emails are listed on Deerfield website.

pulsar,
do you think emailing them this late in the process would matter anymore? trying to decide whether or not to

Even though it may look a little late, it can’t hurt. I would send it especially if you have something important to say.

I don’t have anything specific to say, but I would just hope that they did pass along that information sheet I filled out.
Pulsar, are you applying to Deerfield? If so, what grade are you applying to? Boy or girl? And are you from the East Coast?
Just curious :)

Urbangirl, I sent you a PM.

^ what! the mysterious pulsar reveals themself? juicy…

as for the actual thread itself… no matter how late, i would still pursue sending that information( as long as you don’t get annoying). the loophole in the whole no-communication-till-m10 thing is that the teachers/school can’t INITIATE the conversation, but you can. lots of schools use that loophole, especially when it comes to athletics.
admissions is no time to be timid… if it’s important, get your message across

Haha yes, it’s true. I know all of Pulsars deepest darkest secrets… just kidding. I don’t even know if he/she is a he or a she!

Pulsar wishes s(h)e has darkest secrets. Pulsar is like an open book in German text, ya so you won’t be able to read it. :p
