<p>So now that I’ve been deferred thanks to some error, what should I do between now and April? My guidance counselor should be sending a Midyear Report to the univeristy; and I will be taking a SAT in January.</p>
<p>What sort of error are you talking about? </p>
<p>And usually things you can do are: get another recommendation that shows a different aspect of you, notify them of a recent achievement (but don’t just put something random, do something worth mentioning) etc.</p>

<p>The admissions office didn’t get my supplemental essay even though it was in the same envelope as my transcript and recommendations (which they acquired).</p>
<p>Nobody has any information? I’m pretty sure there were things one could do to “show interest” during the period between ED and RD.</p>
<p>Some people write a personal statement as to why Cornell is still their first choice, additional recommendation letters, updated awards/ECs, latest transcript.</p>
