Since it looks like the final or close to final admissions have gone out, I want to put a rest to the theory that different deferral letter versions give different chances of admissions, once and for all. Please post what deferral letter you received, whether or not you sent a letter of continued interest, and when you were accepted/rejected/waitlisted. For me: I applied on Oct. 31 and was deferred on Dec. 18. I received the “good” deferral letter saying I didn’t need to submit anything else. I sent a letter of continued interest on Jan. 4 and I was accepted on Feb. 5.
