<p>Legacy is diminished in the RD round. According to a Cornell admissions rep.</p>
<p>Statsistics show that while the actual rate may vary from year-to-year, deferred EA applicants are admiited at roughly the same rate as “regular” RD applicants. Legacies will almost always get a tip of some sort, but are, of course, not guaranteed admission.</p>
