I did pretty well in the interview. I emphasized my progression from being a bad student to becoming a good one. I also talked about the poetry that I like to write and growing up poor with a single parent that didn’t care about my future. I also had the privilege to send in a writing portfolio that’s pretty solid for a high school student, I think. My GPA/Rank have also gotten progressively better throughout my high school career. Lastly, I sent in 3 letter of recommendations that are bomb af.
I’m also Hispanic if that makes a difference.
