Deferred from Clemson and or University of South Carolina 2024

My D18 was in honors so in freshman year in what was know at the time as the core.

Now names to them.

But although they were very nice new dorms. The set up was a two bedroom with 2 doubles. The door to the room was into an entry into bathrooms and then to bedrooms. The problem is based on layout no one on floor has doors open. Not conducive to meeting other kids. Shoeboxes and the high rises must ch more conducive to meeting other kids.

Second year four bedroom apartment in Douthit. Very very nice.

Third year in apartment off campus. Big pool very nice three bedroom about 10 minutes from campus. Apartment cheaper than dorms.

Clemson is great school and lots of great living opportunities both on and off campus.

I believe in past years they released some in the last day or so of Feb, and then until March 9th. I will undoubtedly obsess again after Clemson decisions. :wink:

Ugh wish usc would release in February along with Clemson the wait is so stressful

I wish USC released all of the deferred decisions at the same time as Clemson’s RD. For some waiting upwards of a month to find out if they were admitted can be a make or break their decisions this late into the application cycle.

Do we think 5:00 pm on the 15th? I looked yesterday and it said withdraw application and print decision. Those buttons have not changed for us. I also don’t know why they would disappear however. Maybe the withdraw one will but I would assume it would for everyone. And the print decision one is because she was deferred preciously. Who wants to print THAT decision. :rofl:

Lol I think the same thing every time I look at her portal - who would want to print THAT decision! I would assume the withdraw button remains so if the applicant chooses another school they can withdraw their Clemson application - don’t see why that would go away. We’re all trying portal astrology again…

I agree and usc is a top choice also so waiting for a month after Clemson seems insane . They both released early action same week off that regular decision is a month apart.

I wouldn’t be surprised if USC comes earlier than mid March, based off last year, but who knows!!! Nail biting!

For Clemson, I don’t think buttons will change until next Monday at the earliest, if at all.

With button gate round one we all are sure buttons changed on Monday and decisions came out on Thursday but some even thought they may have changed on Friday but we didnt realize it. I think the buttons that changed was the change major though I cant remember what the other button was that disappeared? Maybe the withdrawl?

I think it was the button to change your start term was one that also disappeared for accepted folks.

Hi! It was the withdrawal button and edit term that both went missing on Monday the 11th. Those of us that had both go missing got accepted on 12/14. Best of luck to you all. The wait has been brutal for sure for those of you that this is your students #1
