Right? At least something to keep you entertained while you wait. The Button gate from December definitely made it fun and then getting to see if it was accurate or not. Next years hopefuls will thank us

My daughter wants her test considered and her button left on the 9th, the day after the deadline for deferral info. Fingers crossed for all of us.

Totally agree. Would have loved a full out admit. This is in the least entertaining. First button gate was stressful, this one is comedy. Apparently this is now a reach school for my dtr, but top 2. Always TO. Updated and added a personal statement day following deferral. Good luck all!

Clemson and UofSC are her top 2, both deferrals which was extremely upsetting. Have many other options but still hopeful one of these comes through. Best of Luck!

Ok Button Gate folks. Logged in this AM and the “edit major” buttons are GONE. Still have withdraw or print decision letter. Those buttons were there yesterday. Assuming its nothing but given our past experience, hopeful

Same here. Edit major buttons disappeared overnight.
I do not have access to my daughter’s portal so I only watched button gate last round. If buttons disappear several weeks or several days prior to release did that correlate to an acceptance? If buttons remain until about 24 hours prior it means a rejection?

Clemson portal….Edit majors buttons gone…prob bc they no longer allow you to edit them, if they are reviewing apps now. I think I heard Feb 14th for possible release? 4 weeks…UGH.

For Clemson, if the “Edit Term” button disappeared a few days before the decision, they were accepted…when that button disappeared the day before, we were deferred.

My dtr only has “Withdraw application” and “Print your decision letter” (from deferral) buttons now…not including the other irrelevant ones.

Yup, same, “edit major” is no longer there. I agree that it probably does not mean much other than it is now too late to change majors for review.

We are OOS and were deferred EA for S. Carolina. I’m wondering what their acceptance rate is for deferred students. And when do we hear? Feb or March? It was one of my sons top choices also.

Deferred were told March for decision…I believe I saw that some get their decision at the end of Feb…Feb 28.
I’d love to know the acceptance rate for deferred!

My D was deferred from both. USC is her first choice. Nervewracking stuff!
