<p>I was recently deferred by Pomona College under Early Decision II and I’m trying to figure out what should be sent to them in order to sway them to accept me. Yes, I realize that the likelihood of getting an acceptance after a deferral is tiny, but I’m trying to be optimistic.</p>

<p>In conjunction with the Harambee Centre, students and faculty at Southridge High School formed a sister school relationship with the St. Andrews Senior Secondary School in Uganda. As Co-President of the Matale Sister School Club, we successfully planned a 24-hour fast on February 1st, in which 425 students participated. We raised more than $16,000, all of which will go towards the construction of a science lab for the St. Andrews Secondary School, along with science equipment and textbooks.</p>
<p>Any other ideas? Should I send a description of the 24-hour fast to other colleges like Claremont McKenna or is that unnecessary?</p>
