<p>I was wondering if Duke has deferred rush. I have friends at Vanderbilt who rave about their deffered rush because it makes the 1st semester easier to handle.</p>
<p>rush at duke actually occurs during the spring semester so that everyone is given a chance to get adjusted to college life</p>
<p>Yep…all us girls are actually going back to Duke saturday for rush:)</p>
<p>I definitely think its great because you can get adjusted to Duke and figure out where you want to be socially first, before throwing yourself into a big group of girls who are going to be your “sisters” before you even take your first class.</p>
<p>a few of the RAs had to go back… in GA it turned out that 4 guys were assigned to be back early… my poor RA, stuck with a bunch of rushing chicks</p>
<p>poor RA. I don’t even know if i want to be back with a bunch of girls for 2 days…</p>
