<p>Hi. I was deferred EA and then rejected RD. I’m fine with this and am already over it, but I thought that this was interesting.</p>
<p>When I look at my decision online, it is dated December 15, 2008. That is the same date that was on my deferral letter. Does this mean that they deferred me just to be nice and had already decided to reject me? The letter that I got in the mail today is dated in March though it is the same letter. Was I supposed to see the December date? I just think that this is interesting. Did the same thing happen to anyone else?</p>
<p>I was deferred and then accepted. I noticed that as well and think it was just an oversight. When I got the official letter the date was corrected so I don’t think they were just dragging you along.</p>
<p>Other people on different threads have reported the same thing (whether accepted EA-RD, rejected, or waitlisted). Don’t take it personal, it seems like just a mistake.</p>
<p>**** Chicago… Damn School!!! it defered me EA and then rejected me. They didn’t even reply to my emails. This is outrageous. I should’ve never applied to such an overrated school. </p>
