Seriously Harvard? You’re more indecisive than Hamlet. Wish they’d just give me my rejection without feeding me all this false hope.

Being on the waitlist sucks; you’re not in and you’re not out. In past five years, Harvard has taken anywhere from 30 to 200 kids off the waitlist. What you have to do is fall in love with one of the schools that accepted you – and then forget about the big H. If they come calling, it is a win for you; and if they don’t, it’s their loss!

Third time’s the charm? Hah, but yeah I’m in the same situation as you, it’s tough.

me too. deferred then waitlisted

same here: deferred, then waitlisted. Anyone have an idea of how many people normally accept positions on the waitlist?

^^ Unfortunately, Harvard does not publish that information.
