Deferred U Mich Ann Arbor Class of 2021

Is it possible for engineering decisions to come out in the next few days? Some people are saying that engineering doesn’t ever announce before that “early April” deadline that was originally given. Is that true? Thanks.

@amarz12 UMich admissions told me on twitter. Lol i was freaking out so much i literally slid into their DMs

it could still mostly be waitlist and rejections, but all they said is that there are still deferred students who will be accepted

and i just wanted that reassurance

ACCEPTED!!!
LSA
GPA W:4.0
ACT: 31
EC- Very strong
ESSAYS- storng
never thought my stats would get me in so stay patient!

Nada for me, yet

In state or out?

@jt1216 hey…where you been? Was wondering if you were out there still! Hang in there everyone!

I got accepted OOS last night at 12:00! I was expecting a rejection in April but you never know maybe you all will hear sooner than you think!

@michiganfan911 Did you get an email today too or did you just see it on your portal?

@MichiganFan111 Congrats! Did your link disappear or no?

I got an email today at 3:00 but I checked the portal last night. I never had a deferral link in the first place, I had only gotten the email requesting more info.

Thanks!

My boy d Walt out there balling and y’all ain’t givin him no love. Straighten y’all up

looks like we’ll still have to check the portal every day and hope the decision to come out anytime soon.

Based on previous years, does the CoE have its own timetable? When can we expect those decisions to start rolling out?

Anyone hear from Kinesiology yet?

Don’t even care about Michigan at this point tbh this process has killed all my hope I’ll probs get waitlisted anyways this is fun

Hey guys so I was deferred and recently accepted last week, but it says that my major is undeclared in LSA even though I’m pretty certain that I applied as poli sci as I did to all of my other schools lmao. Does this mean I didn’t get into poli sci or does it not mean anything? I know for some majors like engineering or bio people don’t get into their majors but get into the school (like this happens a lot for UC’s), but I didn’t think this would be the case for social sciences or anything in LSA? Does anyone else’s portal say undeclared when you put down a specific major on your application? Thanks fam!!

@thenewstyped this isn’t the place for that post. And LSA as freshman is always undeclared. That way you can do the general requirements and then focus in on your major. You declare at the start of sophomore year.
