Deferred U Mich Ann Arbor Class of 2021

any rejections recently?

Michigan has always said April. So those who are “loosing hope” please don’t despair.
It’s always been April…so if those few got their decisions before then good for them. For the most part Michigan announces late. So you have a great chance to hearing positive news if your stats fall within their guidelines. It’s just that the “few” who have heard early make students feel left out, left behind. Totally not true!
Michigan has not let you down. They said April. They will announce in April. Any earlier is a bonus.

APRIL IS COMING IN 7 DAYS…WIG IN ORBIT

I think those that got accepted before “Early April” are those who have above average super high stats…

Okay everyone, it’s Friday, let’s enjoy the weekend and not worry about decisions for a couple days, give ourselves a break from this thread, and next Friday or Saturday April 1st should be it, just 1 more week. We got deferred in December and we made it all the way through 3ish months, 1 week will fly by. So good luck everyone #Hail

Does anyone know any info regarding the Hail scholarship? I received it in October, applied EA, got deferred and am currently waiting for a decision. I do not know anyone else at my school that got the offer and was wondering if anyone knew anyone else that got in with it or was rejected. Thanks!

@anonymous67895 I don’t know if this helps, but my counselor told me there were about 5 people in my school who had qualified for the hail scholarship & as far as she knows we were all deferred & are still waiting

are more decisions coming tonight at midnight?

I really hope

Hope so for everyone too! Better to know and move forward, either way. I would like to know although I’m almost sure I wouldn’t go here now.

Already got into equivalent and/or better schools, some offering $$ and I am sure UM will not offer me merit scholarship $$. Good luck to all and hang in there!

This might be a Hail Mary’s chance of getting insight on our final decision but is there any info in the financial aid part of the application that makes you believe that they will accept you? I have nothing ;(

Officially heard back from all my colleges I applied to (10 in total bc I didn’t know exactly where I wanted to go in November), rejected from 2, waitlisted from 2, accepted at 5… oh UM… At this point you all know the feeling and UM does things different but I have a lot to do besides worry about the one school I always knew I wanted to go to!!!

No decision for me yet :frowning:

Sent a LOCI last sunday and no response from both people. XD. Must’ve been rejected already

friend of mine on snapchat posted her snail mail acceptance letter to LSA yesterday. not sure if it was EA or RD.

That snail mail could easily be from the batch of acceptances released on Friday over a werk ago. Especially if she and you are OOS.

Snail mail is a week later. They may be obligated to release by April 1, but last year there were some stragglers!

My brother is currently a junior at Michigan. He applied regular to the COE and got his decision on the 28th of March at 2 PM… Hopefully that’ll be the case this year. If so, only 3 more days!
