Deferred U Mich Ann Arbor Class of 2021

@jjjjjj14 a large portion, if not the majority of people who were accepted on Thursday were EA applicants who were originally deferred. I actually don’t know anyone who applied RD who got in Thursday. Also, the majority of Michigans applications come from out of state, not in state.

@llw333 I applied regular decision and was accepted Thursday.

@ivanl6 didn’t know they were accepting this early, thanks for letting me know & congrats

@TheShortSon @llw333 I’m saying I don’t know anyone in state LSA that got in last Thursday. I know a lot of people OOS did.

@jjjjjj14 one of my friends was accepted in state LSA

@llw333 Thanks! and good luck to you!

Any EA deferrals got accepted without LOCI? Thanks

Anyone from CT who applied EA to CoE hear back yet?

Yep! @mountainviewer: 2 kids in my Hs were deferred EA, did NOT visit or send an LOCI and both were accepted last Thurs…

So I just used the “Chat” feature to ask a question. I also asked about the next round and they said that most students will not hear until April, although some may hear earlier. Also, there is no specific day or time of day emails are sent out.

@NoClip We are from CT, Applied EA to CoE; Deferred; Haven’t heard yet.

Anyone hear for nursing yet?

@llw333 I applied RD pretty far after the EA deadline and got in Thursday. Heard back before multiple classmates that were deferred EA and haven’t even gotten final decisions yet.

@College1235 are you in state?

Nobody from my high school heard yet but a few people heard from another high school in the same district as mine. Are they sending out decisions by high school or is that just a coincidence?

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Maybe if we ask U of M to be our valentine they’ll show us some love next release day

I hope I get into Ross BBA

Anybody who got in who can tell us how it shows up on the portal? Mine still says “view decision” and it’s the deferral letter still. Will there be a different view decision button next to it or will it be the same button but a different letter when clicked? Thank you!

For me it was still the same “view decision” button, but the deferral letter was replaced with:

"Congratulations! You have been admitted to the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts! Your official admission letter will be arriving shortly in the mail. "

And then one or two days later I received an email notifying me I got in.

guesses on when the next wave is ?
