Hey guys
So i tried logging into WA today and it said that my friend account has been locked. Have i veen rejected or is this some sort of update.
Quick reply please guys since i am freaking out…
(Im deferred)

Same here

they close it on weekends @Saadlama

@Saadlama - Same here. That site gets wonky on the weekends, don’t sweat it.

@goblue8721 It looks like it should be open, but it isn’t. We’re within WA’s hours of opperation, so it should be working.

Is everyone down??

Edit: Nvm it’s down for admitted students, too. We’re juicy.

Its in website . Sunday 19th feb WA ll be down.

It should open back up at 4 today tho

Have you guys heard of anyone getting in with lowish stats into LSA? Everyone that seems to be getting in is leagues beyond my GPA and that really makes me feel like I have no chance. I talking about around a 3.6-3.7 GPA range, unweighted (without like a 4.5 weighted GPA lol).

Is there even any hope left for me? lol i doubt it

@UofMichigan1999 I know a guy who got in with a 3.65 UW/3.8 W GPA. Granted he goes to Cranbrook, but still, at least there’s hope for us.

It looks like they redesigned the website

@ALLCAPS24 What’d you do to get the jailbars?

@UofMichigan1999 - There’s about 28,400 undergrads at Michigan. Trust me when I tell you that not all of them have/had a better GPA than you. It’s not an Ivy League School, no matter how much they attempt to portray it as one. This site is like any internet forum - a very small, even minuscule sample of reality. I wouldn’t worry too much.

I posted some comment last night must’ve triggered some people

My first post-my son was deferred in December. Attends a private college prep school, solid 4.2 gpa, majority of classes honors & AP throughout past 4 years, member of NHS, great volunteer stats, 2 sports through hs. Ranks 22 out of 197. Here’s the kicker: 26 on ACT, 4 times!!! Could not increase that score, very frustrating. He’s Sent LOI, received a generic response. He is actually visiting campus tomorrow. Plans on phoning regional counselor prior to visit, just to touch base. The visit to me is bittersweet, as it will make the heartbreak worse, if he is denied. That is a very real possibility. It breaks my heart as a parent, to read these posts–so many students are so obsessed, so focused on this one decision during the final months of their senior year. My son, and many others are in “limbo” right now…just a little vent from a mom.

Everyone here needs to chill out. Y’all will end up at some college. Maybe even better than UMich. Undergrad is not the end of the world. Have fun and enjoy the rest of your senior year. Acceptances will come!

@TheShortSon Weren’t you already accepted?

@Collegemama2017 Yeah I feel you. Hard to get attached to a school before an acceptance. Best of luck to your kid.
