@bobthebuilder13 can’t hurt
@bobthebuilder13 I second that! Never over till it’s over…roll up the sleeves, get out the redbull we are going for the long haul! \m/
I feel like I am always a debbie-downer on this thread but would guys be ok with U of M rejecting students that they know for a fact that there is probably no chance they are going to accept the student ever under the current circumstances. Giving students rejections earlier would probably help alleviate mountains of stress in so many students because then they won’t be getting their hopes and dreams elevated just for those same hopes and dreams to sink. For instance, if U of M does reject me (praying and knocking on wood that they do not), I would be happier to find out sooner than later. That way, I could focus on my best bets and maybe become competitive for scholarships that the other intriguing universities offers. By no means am I giving up or going down without a fight, but shouldn’t deferral pools be for competitive applicants and not just everyone they don’t want to accept.
So no ones view decision link disappeared today?
dont think so
really though have they released very many rejections yet?? it stinks that we could be waiting this long just to be rejected ~X(
I actually have not heard of any rejections from AA and that is what makes me afraid. There will be a huge wave of broken hearts
And my school is a large feeder to all of the U of M’s (Ann arbor, Flint, and Dearborn) so I would assume at least some people will get rejected from AA. I have heard of at least one rejection from Dearborn (which is similar to any “ok” state college).
Maybe some view decision links will disappear tomorrow… it’ll be the last friday in february so we shall see
I was deferred from Michigan in December. Today while exploring my WA I clicked on view application data and on that page under other information it said Notification Plan Status: Early Action - Qualified. What does this mean!! Is it different for others?
I think all of ours said that ^
@thinkpositive421 It means that you submitted your application before November 1, all students that applied before November 1 are Early Action students.
I have a quick question for you guys… When I was deferred I ONLY got an email saying that I was deferred, but my Wolverine Access never updated my status; it still doesn’t say anything about my deferral.
Does anyone else’s portal not update?
so no decisions tonight?
Maybe tomorrow at midnight instead
Has anyone heard of any students getting denied yet?
@jihyun89 a couple of ours did that, no link. It says that’s normal on their website. I can go in to my college counseling office and ask my counselor tomorrow if it means anything
Possibility that WA update over the weekend means links won’t disappear before decision is changed?
They probably figured out that it does the disappearing and changed with the new update, because they want us to stay in hopeless purgatory lol
Good point…
if they did remove it, im actually glad because at least I won’t be hopeless from the middle of the day
