Jake, were both Math and CR over 500? If one was and one wasn’t, you will have to take the SAT again, as they unfortunately will not accept you with either under 500. It is their bare minimum. So maybe retake? Or take the ACT instead?

I posted on another thread about how to build your application. Here is a link. Scroll down for my comments.

My D had a 490 on Math, retook with no prep and just by “winging it” and did worse. Then, after a visit to FSU and a pep talk with an admissions counselor about how she did not meet criteria, she did some prep and got her score up to 530 or 540–I am forgetting which. She had a total of 1100 and got in.

I will tell you she did NOT want to take that @#$#$ test again, but after a visit to a lower tier Florida U, she decided it was worth the effort. She really gritted it out and did it.
