Anyone know Indiana’s policy on deferring admission for a year or know where I can find information about it? Thanks.

here is what it says on the Admissions website:

IU allows admitted students to defer their enrollment to a later semester.
To do so, students who will be freshmen should do the following:

Contact the Office of Admissions in writing to request permission to defer to a later semester. Students should explain what they will be doing during the period that they will not be attending IU (such as working, traveling, attending another college, etc.). Students who are attending another college, and who complete 12 or more semester hours, must reapply online as a transfer student
Have their high school send the Office of Admissions an official, final high school transcript.
Transfer students who will not enroll in the semester for which they have originally been admitted will need to reapply for admission. They will need to complete the online transfer application, pay the application fee, and resubmit academic documents.
