I got a two year Dean’s Scholarship. Am I allowed to “save this” for junior and senior year?

Why would you want to do this? Do you already have FULL funding for the first two years? Most students with a 2 year scholarship will try to find more scholarship $ for the remaining years after you are enrolled. There are many opportunities to do so.

Agree 100% with plumazul…Freshman year is the hardest year to get departmental scholarships. If you do well you should be able get some additional money for your last two years

Additionally, every yr the price to attend increases, while your scholarship amount will remain the same, thus it is less bang for your buck. On top of that if you are taking loans the amount you are eligible to receive goes up as you ascend (fresh, soph, jr and sr), AND if you take it as a freshman the interest may start accruing at that point depending on the loan. That again means from a fiscal issue you will have higher debt in loans and the scholarship you deferred will be worth less due to tuition increases.
