<p>I saw some campuses do Prior to spring, while others do Prior to enrollment, I’m assuming prior to enrollment means before the actual fall quarter for the school begins</p>

<p>Prior to enrollment means before you start classes at the campus, so the beginning of fall quarter for fall applicants. Prior to applying might be another term you see in contrast to prior to enrollment. Most UC Campuses list “Complete in a normal academic term prior to enrollment,” in which summer is not considered a normal academic term. This is why you typically see by the end of the spring term.</p>
<p>In practical terms, “before enrollment” means before registering for classes. If you wait until the classes start, you may not be able to get the sections you want/need.</p>
