Definitely Failed

Hey I just took my AP Physics midterm today and I definitely bombed it. A huge part of the reason was my bro had a seizure and smashed his head open yesterday and was still in the hospital today.

Will one **** up affect my admission to a school? If so, should I have my guidance counselor write something about it when she sends my mid year report?

EDIT 93 First Quarter and 97 Second Quarter

Get your guidence counselor to write a letter explaining it, or get them to make note of it somewhere on the midyear report. Obviously if you got a 93 and a 97 you’ve got to know something about AP Physics.

And who knows… maybe you didn’t fail. I’ve thought I’ve failed before and only did really badly- like a C or a D.

are you a senior and are your grades already sent? and what will your grade be in physics even if you fail the test…does your teacher curve…

one test is not the make or break…so don’t worry and i hope your brother is okay…

Maybe you can talk to your Physics teacher and ask for a retest in a week or so… with your story, and your previous (excellent) grades, (s)he might understand.
