Ok…before everyone posts that it is opp/hyp let me refine my question. I need to know the formula/equation that a calculator or anything goes through to compute sin. I am specifically lookin to see if this formula uses Pi in it. Does anyne know the formula for cos/tan? Any links would be appreciated.

Thank you!! That is perfect!

I think that calculators use the CORDIC algorithm, http://www.dspguru.com/info/faqs/cordic.htm.

mcclarins series easily defines sin cos e^x and all other junk~
