Degree in Squirrel Whispering?

I have recently started my college search, and I want to study the field of animal care; specifically, I want to be a squirrel whisperer. However, I cannot seem to find a college that fits my needs.

So far my top choice is the University of Michigan. I have heard that the squirrels are really chubby and tame there, and love to interact with humans. However, the only issue is the cost. I’m out of state so the costs are high, and I don’t feel I should pay $53,000 annual tuition for a squirrel whispering degree. A tuition ranging from $35,000 to $45,000 would be more suitable.

Are there any colleges in the US that offer a bachelors and a master’s degree in squirrel whispering that are within my tuition range? Also it is vital that the squirrels on campus are chubby. They don’t necessarily have to be tame, I will be able to catch and train them whether or not they are.

Also, I prefer to attend a college in an urban location, which also has an entrepreneurship program (with emphasis on squirrel entrepreneurship).

Please help!!

Lol… I wrote an essay for Freshman English at Michigan a million years ago about the squirrels in the diag! They are the best… you will just have to find a way to swing attending Michigan. Although Haverford and Macalester both boast black squirrels (have seen them at Mac, and it is the mascot of Haverford). So they are also possibilities. Mac does meet your urban requirement, too! Mac gives merit aid, so maybe you can quality with your unique EC and field of study.

If you are serious about a career in this field there are several university’s with ongoing programs following habitat and relationship traits of semi domesticated squirrel’s. Colorado State University has a well known study program where students will collar and follow these animals to learn more about interactions with humans and other animals. I have not heard of Michigan’s curriculum in this field and do not believe they are a renown source for squirrel study but you can expect the tuition to be high in this highly specialized field of study. On a quick side note you should visit the University of Notre Dame as the squirrel population there is considered to be one of the most domesticated group in the Midwest often moving within inches of students or following walkers through the campus.
