Degree of difficulty in getting a scholarship

Hi. Im wondering how difficult is it to get one of those presidential, trustee, or dean’s. I am in no way whatsoever overqualified or maybe even qualified to get in this school (3.5-3.6 full IB, 2190 SAT, good leadership ec’s, etc…) I’ll be lucky enough to even get in to the school.

I’m 80% done with the app. and I’m sure I could finish it by the deadline, but I’m thinking about trying to strengthen my app esp. my essay over winter break and turn it in in late december/early jan. My parents’ income is about 50k. Should I just turn it in late and depend on that need-based aid?

Good luck!

You have several days before the deadline. I think it would be in your best interest to spend the next few days focusing on how to make your application the best it can be. (The likelihood is that whether you edit it now or next month, you aren’t going to spend more than 50 hours actually editing your application. So edit it now.)
