Degree... University or City College ?

<p>I’m just starting school (in my 30’s), and, the University that I want to get my BS from requires some minimum credits for entry. They said that I should get my AS from them first, then I could just slide into the BA program.</p>

<p>But… they cost about $500 per credit ! The local city college is about $150 per credit.</p>

<p>Is there a difference here !? Would I be crazy to get my AS from the University ?</p>
