Degree without Diploma? FAFSA BA degree help

I’ve completed all my courses required for my Psych degree.

However, I’ve recently had a change of heart and wanted to do Optometry school. This means I will have to take several pre-reqs that I haven’t taken and it will probably take me another year.

Currently I am still enrolled as a student, taking classes and I’ve changed my expected term of graduation to next Fall.

I’ve just applied for FAFSA and it’s asking if I already have my BA. Do I already have my BA since I’ve already completed my pre-reqs for my Psych major, or do I not since I am still enrolled as a student? Hoping it’s the latter so I can still receive financial aid!

Thanks

Have you physically received a Bachelor’s? Have you actually graduated? I don’t think you have a Bachelor’s.

There’s your answer. Until you graduate, you do not have a BA degree.

Until you petition to graduate, you do not have a degree. It is possible to graduate and continue to take classes, but this does not apply to you.
