2) University of Delaware
3) John’s hopkins university
4) American University
5) UMBC

…are you a junior or a senior?

I am a senior, why do you ask?

so umm I honestly dont know anything about any of these schools except JH…but I’ll do my best. your GPA is pretty low/ditto with SAT score…your ECs are okay, not outstanding…what are you planning on majoring in? if its math/sciency, you should probably get that math score up, esp for JH

1) high match
2) high match
3) very high reach
4) high reach?
5) dont even know what this is.

I’m sorry that wasnt more help :(

some universities don’t even look at sophomore year in calculating your GPA, so you might wanna look at those.

Oh, lololol. nvm. I couldn’t tell because the ‘junior/senior year grades will be straight A’s’ part sounds like you’re a junior, but then you already have SAT scores and stuff.

I would be surprised if you don’t get into UMBC, CP, UDel, or American. JHU is probably unlikely, though. But I’m just another senior… Good luck!

Yeah, I’m only considering hopkins because it’s on the common app and I think I can do really well on the SAT in november. Thanks for all the quick feedback, keep it coming!

JHU is very hard to you unless you have “hook”.
all others you can try. good luck

need 10 chars bump

Like the others have said, u gotta raise the SAT score. And i do hope u already have taken ur subject tests as well. Also, write some killer essays so u can get a better chance. Good Luck.

1) University of Maryland College Park- high match
2) University of Delaware-match (?)
3) John’s hopkins university-high reach
4) American University-reach
5) UMBC-idk too much about this one, sorry

Bump10char

Do a lot of practice tests for your next SAT go-round and have your GC/Teachers make note of how your grades have trended upwards as you’ve matured as a student . . .
I think you have a great chance at these schools (Johns H will be a reach though).

Are you OSS for UMD, UMBC?

Your chances for UMD are a little lower than average b/c of OS status (esp. if your coming Delaware + NJ).

UMBC is a good match. Its the 2nd best public University in the state. Plus, Its my 2nd choice so it has to be good :)

I live in maryland, so no, I am not OOS.
