i was just wondering what type of bag/backpack you were using? i’m weary about getting a few from ebags because i think it would be such a tight fit, any suggestions as to what you use and how well it works? thanks!

i use my north face borealis, it comes with a laptop compartment

I have an e1505 and Crumpler’s “The Dreadful Embarrasment”, its awesome.

www.crumplerbags.com (probably also on ebags)

The timbuk2 laptop messenger WILL NOT fit this laptop. Its widescreen, you’ll need a “large” 15" bag or “small” 17"

I use the North Face Recon, which has a laptop compartment. It also has enough space to fit in 2 enormous textbooks and a few notebooks.
The North Face Big Shot is bigger than Recon.
You could buy a normal backpack without the laptop compartment and just protect your laptop with a laptop cover or something.
But I really like the North Face products.

I think I have the same computer, the screen is around 15’’ diagonally. Anyway I have a purple case/bag from Ebags and it fits perfectly, not too tight or anything.

Yeah, I have the E1505 too, and I’m looking for a good bag for it in a store, I don’t want to order one and then find that it’s not right when I get it.

Where can you get North Face backpacks?

You can get North Face backpacks from many places. For example, Sports Authority, Sun Ski and Sports, Internet, and stores that sell sports products. By the way, I have Dell Inspiron laptop with 15.4" screen.

I’m happy because I just got the bag that is as close to perfect as it’s going to get. It’s nylon, not too many extra pockets and it’s not black :)Yay!!!

I have a Dell e1505 too. I got a TARGUS bag with it. Really nice bag, I’ll post the link to it below. But anyways the bag hold the laptop nicely in place. It has a little spot on the front where you could put a wireless mouse or your cell phone. It doesn’t really have space to hold any big books but it could definetly hold a few normal sized notebooks.
