was anyone here denied from UCLA with 4.0 UW GPA and max UC GPA(not sure what that is) and ELC

dat is not possible. If that occurs, that will prove affirmitive action is used. Unless they had no ec’s which i highly doubt.

that doesn’t mean affirmative action was used if it happened. and it is possible, if they didn’t have very strong extracurriculars

well wouldnt that basically mean getting all A’s in high school and taking some AP courses almost guarantees you into a school like ucla

just having good grades in hard classes doesn’t guarantee you anything… they look at the whole person… essays and extracurricular activities are important too

Yes that would be definite proof, wow youre so good at proving things maybe you should work on proving riemann hypothesis.

well you all need to put it into perspective. 42,000…42,000!

FORTY TWO THOUSAND (LoL) people apply, and among the amount of people that make up the population size of a major city, there are bound to be more than 10,000 4.0 Straight-A amazing SAT scorer students. Yet the school only accepts about that…so UCLA itself can’t guarantee admission to anyone really, but they will guarantee that if you have the stats that you will be accepted to a UC campus.
