Deposit

I sent in my enrollment deposit but what do I do next?!

If you haven’t done anything else yet:

-Apply for housing. ($50 application fee, $200 housnig deposit fee, and they’re both due for your spot to be “reserved” for housing).

-Sign up for Orientation ($155 for you, $80 for each guest you want to bring, such as your parents. YOU have to stay overnight in a dorm, but any guests you bring have to make other arrangements).

-Send in your immuzations form (take it to your doctor, and they can either fax it to USF or you can mail it in yourself).

-Sign up for a meal plan (if you’re summer term, if you’re fall term wait for the contracts to be ready, rumors say early May they will be available).

-Request final transcripts be sent from your high school to USF (your High school’s guidance dept. can help you with this).

What is an enrollment deposit and how much did you pay? What does the cost of the Orientation covers when you get accepted?

Once Accepted to USF, sign up for your Orientation for First Time Students:

^All good advice. Too, just enjoy the next few weeks of high school and keep your grades up and take final exams seriously. Don’t get in any trouble with authorities getting caught doing end of year school pranks! And enjoy your summer break before starting classes at USF.

The enrollment deposit is $200, and it reserves your spot in the incoming freshman class. That money goes directly to your tuition.

The orientation fee is only used to pay for orientation: the food, the materials, and your overnight stay. I don’t believe any of that money comes back to you in your OASIS account or anything.

I would be consider a transfer so the enrollment deposit won’t pertain to me. Correct? I am still waiting back regarding my application status which is taking a very long time since end of Feb 2012. I hope it comes soon.

Thanks everyone! When do I find out roommate and do schedule?

You need to submit $50 application fee and $200 deposit for your housing to determine and choose a roommate. As for schedule of classes, it will be done during your orientation.

Okay thank you! Even if I don’t go to orientation til August? And yes I just sent in all the deposits two days ago
