<p>A lot of colleges don’t put a lot of weight on frosh year. You get mulligan (kind of). Get it together and you’ll be okay. GL</p>
<p>Colleges like to see an upward trend. I, too, ended freshman year with a 2.0. I’ve only gone up since then and I’ve gotten into seven colleges so far 
Don’t fret! You have to really buckle down now, though, and study hard to increase your gpa!</p>
<p>You can for sure still get into college! Just work hard to pull up your grades, and if there were circumstances that negatively impacted your grades freshman year, consider explaining them in an additional personal statement when the time comes for college applications.</p>
