<p>I grew up in southern CA and found the weather incredibly depressing. It just depends on what you like, what you’re wired for, or something like that. Only when I moved to San Francisco for college did I realize how much I prefer less sunny areas. Now I live in southern Oregon, which is still way too sunny for my tastes, but at least the winters are nice. I wish I had a summer place in northern Canada!</p>
<p>Someone told me this is reverse Seasonal Affective Disorder. I want to find somewhere that has fog therapy for depression onset by relentless sun. ;)</p>
