<p>I grew up in Syracuse, NY…probably at LEAST as overcast as Eugene and a LOT colder but as a kid it was no big deal. When I moved to So Cal I was depressed for 3 years. Every day was the same! But i got over it : ) Now I live on the central coast and the weather is perfect for me. My son says he likes overcast and rainy weather…I’m not sure how he’d like if for months at a time. We are going up next friday for Duck Days. Supposed to be raining. Hope he gets a better feel of what he’d be getting himself into if he went to U of O.<br>
On a side note every time we mention U of O people seem to have a friend or relative from here going to school up there and they all love it. Guess the weather isn’t too bad for them.</p>
