Desert Help

I hope someone can help me out. All I have is flour, milk, and sugar (no eggs or butter). Is there a desert I can make with these ingridients?

Oh, you are asking about a dessert (not desert) … that threw me at first. Do you also have any oil (like canola oil)?

Try this website, where you can plug in your ingredients and it will give you options:

Last month at our cabin, I had a similarly limited set of ingredients and managed to make a great cake.

I do have oil!

This recipe takes a few ingredients you might not have, but it’s a GREAT recipe – kind of like a biscotti.

Twice-Baked Cookies

1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350.

Mix all ingredients together (add eggs one at a time). Flour hands and board. Shape dough into 2 long flat strips and place on greased cookie sheet for 30 - 35 minutes.

Cut into 1-1/2 inch pieces. Separate and brown lightly in oven.

Note: if you don’t have chocolate chips, it’s also good without them if you sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top before baking.

And here’s a sugar cookie recipe for you – [Stir and Drop Sugar Cookies I - Allrecipes](http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Stir-and-Drop-Sugar-Cookies-I/Detail.aspx)

^ But she has no eggs :(

Mix 'em together and you’ll have sugary, floury milk. I don’t really know what else you could do with those three ingredients…

Oops, I missed that about the eggs. Yeah, there’s not much you can make that would end up dessert-like with what you have. Maybe a trip to the store is in order?

Let’s see mix it all up and put outside to catch some wild yeast floating by…

throw in a lot of sand and very little water.

Yes we can!!!

Do you have peanut butter?

If you have cocoa powder (NOT chocolate milk mix, the unsweetened plain cocoa powder) and any kind of vinegar that doesn’t have herbs or spices in it, this is truly the easiest cake to make. Ever. It is foolproof, tasty, and you don’t even need a mixing bowl–just mix it in the cake pan. And it’s vegan, to boot. There are many versions of this around, but I happened to find the same Moosewood version that I use.

Hello again! I ended up just mixing flour, sugar, and milk, and a little bit of honey and baking it for 40 minutes. It was not great but not terrible and satisfied my friend’s and mine craving for sweets. Thank you everyone!
