<p>I am applying to the Design school and CMU and I thought I had done everything, I sent in my app on time, scheduled a portfolio review and visit etc. But, just now, as I was looking through the website I saw that I had missed the teacher recommendation deadline which was January 1st. Do you think this will seriously lower my chances or could my portfolio review/interview make up for this? Of course I got recs in through common app but I think these were different, and supposed to be design related. I really hope this does not kill my dream!</p>
<p>They’re usually more lenient with teacher recommendations since they know it’s possible for them to forget, but I’d still say get that in ASAP!</p>
