Design question

Would you go with black/bronze windows when your exterior is earthy red?

Windows, not window trim, correct? I would. We had white windows - what a PITA to keep clean. Now we have brown fiberglass, and they are so much more forgiving.

Yes, windows. I can get white but it won’t be anodized. I am afraid black might crash with earth tone red exterior.

Use a color visualizer app and play with it.

I would, absolutely. Google “brick house black windows” and click on “images” to see some examples.

I looked in my neighborhood. Red brick house with black windows looked not bad. They didn’t crash.

I have medium multi-colored (rust, grey, taupe and white) and bronze windows. The neighbors have white windows. Mine look a whole lot better.

Supre! So bronze goes well with warm colors.

My pet peeve is people who replace the original black windows on Tudor houses with white ones. While most brick houses around here have white windows for a colonial look, there are also quite a few that go in a more Tudor direction with dark windows. They look good too.

Thanks, @mathmom. I was hoping you would chime in.
