<p>(Sorry for bothering you the whole time with so many threads but I really have a lot of questions and I think it’s easier to answer if I don’t ask them all at once as I did in my first thread.)</p>
<p>Do I really have to designate my SATs to Harvard as they say on their homepage? I’ve never taken a SAT yet. Can I designate it to more than one university or do I have to take the SAT once for each university I apply?</p>

<p>You have to take the SAT only once. You can send the scores to as many schools as you like or to none at all. But beyond the first few schools you can designate for free, you will have to pay extra to have your scores sent to additional schools.</p>

<p>You can send your scores whenever you want and to whomever you want. But there’s a fee. You should just check out collegeboard.com. they run the tests and you should be able to get answers to your questions on their website.</p>
<p>Each time you take the SAT they’ll send your scores to four places at no cost. If you know you are going to send SAT scores, sending them later doesn’t really help you. You can’t tell the College Board which scores to send - they’ll send all the scores. </p>
<p>In fact since Harvard requires SAT2s even if you take the ACT, I can’t think of any good reason not to send the scores sooner rather than later. They will see them eventually no matter what.</p>
