Desperate for Help

So basically I am in the midst of studying for the Dec ACT. So far I’ve taken a bunch of full practice ACTs -mostly PR and McGraw Hill- and was able to improve my original score significantly (still not close enough to where I’m aiming).

The other day I borrowed the Real ACT from a friend (luckily he did not write in it), and saw that the passages on the reading test are much longer. While I was able to finish all of the questions on the PR and MH tests, I barely finish on time with the Real ACT…

I tried to PR technique of doing the reading section but that went horrible… So i tried reading the whole thing but it is almost impossible on the Real ACT.
Any suggestions of what I can do to increase my score?? Any strategies that helped you?
Thanks.

Take barron’s tests like you did the PR and McGraw (which btw is horrible) then take a real red book test…report your new high score =)

Thank you. Will do!
Any other suggestions?

The reading passages will always occur in the same order – Prose Fiction, Social Science, Humanities, and Natural Science – but you don’t have to read them in that order. Take control of the test! Read the passages in your order of preference.
