<p>All right so I applied to harvard yale princeton stanford columbia and cornell, all top schools. and i hear back from them on 3/29. i got into michigan already, so i know im going to college, but if i can get into just one of the above six, it would be great…i get to go to a prestigious school and also leave home (since i live in ann arbor, MI). anyways i dont want 6 rejection letters so CHANCE me 1 LAST TIME PLEASE so that i know what to expect…all rejections or some acceptances to celebrate.</p>
<p>GPA: 4.0/4.0 in suburban public high school of around 2200 total kids
SAT I: 740 CR 800 M 770 W = 2310 T
SAT II: 800 MII, 770 CHEM, 660 USH
ACT: 34 (.25, i didnt get rounded up *sigh)
EC: great, im well rounded, did A LOT of stuff, won awards, but nothing completely SPECTACULAR. for instance im captain/president of stuff, won like 1 national level award, a lot of state level awards, played a sport, was pretty talented in music, etc etc</p>
<p>Senior Year Mid-Term Grades: All A’s so they know im not slipping or succumbing to senioritis
Essays/Interview/Recs: Good, nothing spectacular once again, so it won’t make or break my app</p>

<p>I think you will be in at Cornell and Columbia…I am not sure about the HYPS (cuz your ecs are not spetacular-like me actually=( )</p>
<p>You aren’t a shoo-in at Cornell or Columbia. We need specifics in ECs/awards – they’re most important at top schools. Show us which clubs, which positions, which accomplishments, etc.</p>
<p>Unless you have a strong passion that is demonstrated in your ECs and awards and is highlighted in your essays, then Stanford won’t happen. State- and national-level awards are ++ at all the top colleges, but, again, we need to see specifically what to give you an idea.</p>
<p>Not that we’d be able to give you a really substantial answer, anyway. The top schools are crapshoots.</p>
<p>You have the numbers (right GPA, SAT, etc.). I’m assuming you’ve taken many advanced classes.</p>

<p>you have a really good shot at brown. others-no shot. haha just kidding. You won’t really know about any of these because they are insane. I’d say you are def in at cornell, but if i tried to guess the others i’d be totally wrong because they are crazy.</p>
<p>only bad thing is that 660, but sat world history is really hard so maybe itll balacne out, cornell’s ur best bet, good luckk</p>

<p>Yea, I got a 5 on USH and then got 690 on SAT II a month later. It was really hard for some reason.</p>
<p>^^ er, maybe because you waited a month to take the SAT II? One should take the subject tests in May, right before the AP tests – it’s when they’ll be most prepared, especially since the subject tests reflect the difficulty of the AP tests, for the most part.</p>
