I was so new at FAFSA, I had no idea that I was missing required Items, and wasn’t notified by the college of my choice until I opened up my email. I had to get required items in by july 15, that was the deadline, otherwise my fafsa was “subject to cancellation”. When I tried to rush and do everything, I started with ‘Entrance Counseling’, it said my balance was $0…I feel like I’ve completely ruined myself. Is there any chance I can get back my reward?
If not, where can I get loans? Or where should I look? I’m 18 with no credit history.

You post doesn’t contain enough specific info to help much. You should call your financial aid office. You will still be able to get your federal direct loans. And Pell grant if you got any. But Perkins loans and work study can run out if not claimed. And any aid directly from the college may have a deadline. Call them.

I hope anyone else reading this thread will take this advice. READ YOUR COLLEGE EMAIL every day. Your student portal at your college will give you information. This student didn’t read his email until, after the deadline. The college SENT it well before the deadline for receipt of the required items.

To the OP, call the college financial aid office. Ask to speak to a financial aid advisor…not the person answering the phone!

Yes, call the school office. Your $5500 in student loans and any Pell eligibility is still available. If you lost other aid, then you cant just borrow more. Banks, etc, arent going to loan to an 18 year old without the income to support the loan.
