Are any of you Lions fans out there crying the blues with the 0 - 16 season? Anyone have solutions?

Sigh. I have no words for it.

I’m not a Lions fan, but fans should look forward to Calvin Johnson and the number one pick in the draft.

Too bad they didn’t play the Cowboys today. Coulda won that game. :(

Actually, the Tampa Bay Bucs lost all 14 games the first season and the first few games of the second season before they won a game, they were absolutely pathetic! I gotta hand it to the Lions players and especially the coach, who refused to point any fingers and basically took all responsiblity for their horrible season - hope things turn around for them soon.

I am just happy the Patriots are out of the playoffs…

This might have been Belichick’s best-ever coaching job (although2001 will always be tough to top). To lose Tom Brady seven minutes into the season and go 11-5 is pretty amazing.

I think it’s a great season - Patriots and Cowboys out of the post-season, the last playoff spot comes down to the last game of the season tonight, and my Steelers have a bye next week. I feel sorry for the Lions; they kept playing until the end, so good for them. Kevin Smith and Calvin Johnson bode well for the future.

Long-suffering Lions fan here. It’s a lost cause, I’m afraid. I just feel bad for the poor 1st round draft choice whose career will be ruined before it begins (if the usual curse of being drafted by the Lions continues).

The best jersey I’ve seen lately has “Owen” with the number “16” on the back!

All I have to say is GO BIRDS!!! There was no way I thought my Eagles would make the playoffs.
And my Titans have a bye!
All is well in my football world (except that H and WildChild are Cowboys fans and had to endure watching today’s blow-out here in Philadelphia with my family).

here in the metro detroit area, everyone i know was rooting for the lions to go 0-16 since a few weeks ago. i mean, cmon…what good would it be having them go 1-15 or 2-14? they would still be a TERRIBLE team, they just wouldn’t be terrible enough for it to matter in the long run.

at least everyone will remember them and have something to poke fun at now…:)
