Deviating from Pomona's courses

I’ve recently been accepted into Pomona for September 2011, which I’m ecstatic about since its my first choice. However, I wanted to do a few business courses which are only available as part of CMC’s curriculum. Would it be possible to take a few business courses, even though they’re not listed under the shared courses between the Claremont Colleges?

Don’t worry, this shouldn’t be a problem. As long as you can get the Professor’s permission, any class at the 5C’s is pretty much open to any student. You’ll just have to email to Prof and talk to him or her.

I wouldn’t be quite so optimistic in these circumstances. Professors at the 5Cs can override virtually any enrollment rule, but CMC is pretty exclusionary with their econ/business programs.
