Hey! May be a silly question, but I wanted to know why there is such a difference between the top undergrad and grad rankings in DI?
I mean,if a school is good for architecture in undergrad, shouldn’t it naturally be just as good for grad? And vice versa? Please help me out. Thanks!

You have to understand the methodology of the DI rankings - they ask employers which schools produce the best employees.

Many top graduate schools don’t offer professional undergraduate degrees - such as Yale, Princeton and Penn - but instead offer liberal arts degrees in architecture. Some of the top schools don’t even have an undergraduate program.

not necessarily. for example, cornell has an excellent undergraduate program but its new m.arch program is only 2-3 yrs old so because it is so new, it doesn’t have the reputation it has for its undergraduate program.
